Sectorial
Pimec has sectoral organizations in the social, economic, business, talent, trade, sports and entrepreneurship fields. The employers’ association constitutes its own sectoral organizations with the aim of bringing together guilds and associations in a certain field in order to have greater representation and coordinate actions of common interest towards administrations or other agents. Another objective is to grant, through the Pimec sectoral, articulation and visibility to a certain sector, either because it lacks its own organizations (guilds/associations), or because these do not fully represent the reality or plurality of that sector of activity.
Pimec Agrifood
It represents companies and associations that carry out their activity within the agri-food sector, one of the most important in the Catalan economy. The sector brings together the interests of different guilds and associations that represent various links in the agri-food chain and the diversity of the sector, from farmers and ranchers to food processors. It also defends micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and self-employed people in the sector, opening new channels of dialogue with public administrations and ensuring that the day-to-day life of all of them is as viable as possible.

Pimec Commerce
Commerce is one of the pillars of the Catalan economy, and the Catalan commercial model, with a predominance of small, family and local businesses, is also a heritage of all that must be preserved. Through the unions and associations of shopkeepers and traders in the regions and municipalities that are part of it, Pimec Comerç ensures the competitiveness of local businesses throughout the country and defends their interests in Catalonia, Spain and Europe. The strength of the sector is the guarantee of the survival and adaptation of the Catalan commercial model, which has been and is a source of wealth, social cohesion and urban and territorial balance.
Pimec Sports
It works to have a complete knowledge of the situation of each of the sports business subsectors and to obtain the best conditions for the development and prosperity of the companies in the sector. It seeks to highlight the economic power and great business projection that the sports sector has, in all its aspects, taking into account that the economic sector it represents is transversal and is integrated into the healthy lifestyle and everyday life of citizens.

Pimec Training and Employment
Its objective is that companies dedicated to vocational training and occupational services have a favorable environment and can grow and consolidate, taking into account the idiosyncrasies of each entity. From the sectoral level, the demands of the sector are conveyed and promoted, both at a strategic and operational level, influencing the administrations that develop actions and programs with public funds and/or private financing.

Pimec Logistics – Clúster Logístic de Catalunya
It acts as a spokesperson for the sector to align strategies and join efforts to enhance and optimize industrial activity in SMEs. It also contributes to improving their competitiveness by structuring, dynamizing and modernizing logistics and the supply chain.

Pimec Industry
It represents Catalan industrial SMEs, defending their interests and promoting an environment favourable to their growth and consolidation. It works to guarantee the competitiveness of the industrial fabric through dialogue with administrations and other economic agents, focusing on key aspects such as financing, infrastructure, internationalisation and the development of industrial policies that promote the reindustrialisation and sustainable growth of the sector.

Pimec Tourism
It brings together professionals and business associations from the accommodation, catering, visitable spaces and active tourism sectors in Catalonia, working to improve their competitiveness and achieve a quality, innovative and sustainable tourism model.

Pimec Health and Social Services
It analyzes and monitors public policy in the field of health and sanitation, gathering the opinion of different business actors involved, such as hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies or social entities. The sectoral one works to guarantee the representativeness of the sector in institutional spaces and issues public positions, in addition to relating to the administration, both at the regional and state level.

Pimec Self-employed
It is the most representative association of the collective of autonomous workers in Catalonia. It ensures the defense and representation of the collective and the dissemination of knowledge and positions in favor of it, and develops actions and offers services that contribute to the competitiveness and growth of autonomous people, facilitating their activity with tools and supports of all kinds.

Pimec Youngs
It is the meeting point for young entrepreneurs from all over Catalonia. It is made up of young entrepreneurs under 41 years old who come from a wide variety of sectors and conditions, such as self-employed people, emerging companies, entrepreneurs who are generational replacements and newly created companies. The sectorial is the speaker of the reality of young entrepreneurs and conveys their concerns and proposals and the challenges they face such as the lack of talent, the culture of the future or inclusive capitalism.
