Work commissions

Pimec has working committees in the social, economic, business and labour fields. Formed by businessmen and independent experts, they analyse cross-cutting and common problems for the business community as a whole, identify possible threats and propose solutions.

Pimec’s working committees articulate their work through reports, studies and positions in order to create opinion and influence the changes necessary for the competitiveness of SMEs.


Public procurement

It defends business interests in matters of public procurement and public-private collaboration with the aim of ensuring that SMEs have the opportunities that correspond to them through legislative modifications and the provision of tools.

Digitization and innovation

It promotes business digital transformation and influences public policies in this area for the development of tools to support SMEs and digital and innovative talent.

Woman and company

It promotes gender equality in the economic and business world, promoting female leadership and talent, enhancing the exchange of knowledge and promoting female leadership with networking in all economic sectors of the productive fabric.

Economy and taxation

It studies taxes and taxation at the state, regional and local levels, preparing studies and opinions to achieve an equitable tax framework in relation to the economic capacity of SMEs and self-employed individuals.

Energy

It studies energy costs and the functioning of the electricity and hydrocarbon markets and looks after the interests of SMEs, while influencing the decarbonization model.

Labor

It assesses and analyzes the regulations and new developments in labor matters that affect SMEs and self-employed individuals in order to improve the legal framework for their application to benefit the needs of SMEs and self-employed individuals.

Sustainability

It works on and disseminates the main regulations and procedures in the field of sustainability among the Catalan productive fabric and safeguards the interests of SMEs in environmental regulations, promoting the circular economy and its transformation.
