Governing bodies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

More than 600 businessmen and women are part of the governing and management bodies of Pimec and, therefore, they voluntarily collaborate to represent micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and self-employed people, to identify problems and needs and transfer them, through the employers’ association, to parliamentary groups, governments and the administration, to find solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The General Assembly of Pimec is the most important decision-making body of the entity, and is made up of all individual and collective members. It meets once a year at the General Assembly. The Board of Directors, currently made up of 113 businessmen and women, who represent various business sectors throughout Catalonia, meets more frequently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Executive Committee of Pimec is the governing and management body of the entity and is made up of businessmen and women, who meet weekly. The president of Pimec chairs the meetings of the Committee and all the governing bodies, which are also attended by the secretary general of the entity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
